Rouge Pilates
A bilingual studio website with Mindbody booking and payments built in.
The challenge
Rouge Pilates is a Pilates studio in Gatineau, Québec, that runs its schedule, bookings, memberships and payments on Mindbody. The website had to sell and book directly through Mindbody while still looking fully like the Rouge brand, in French and English. Then the studio opened a second location with Reformer classes, and the site had to grow from one studio and one method into two studios, two methods and one consistent brand.
My contribution
Built and maintain the site as a custom WordPress theme on top of Blocksy, with hand-coded PHP templates for every main page. The core of the project is the Mindbody integration: the live class schedule, customer login, and every class pack, membership and gift card on the pricing page are Mindbody widgets placed inside Rouge-designed pages, so visitors book and pay without leaving the site. For the Rouge 2.0 update I redesigned the homepage for the new Labrosse studio, created six new pages, rebuilt the pricing page around both studios and both methods, and updated navigation and the footer for two locations.
How it works
Mindbody runs through its official Healcode widgets, connected to the studio's Mindbody site and Branded Web identity. The booking page embeds the Mindbody schedule, where visitors filter by location, class type and instructor and reserve a spot. The "Se connecter" button in the header is a Mindbody account widget, so clients sign in to the same account they use in the app. The pricing page holds 14 Mindbody purchase widgets: 6 class packs, 7 memberships and a gift card, each linked to its own service in Mindbody. Mindbody loads these buttons asynchronously and rewrites the markup around them, so I wrote a MutationObserver script that waits for each button to render and then adds its validity label, like "Valid 3 months", and placed other badges outside the widgets so they are never overwritten. Scoped CSS restyles the Mindbody buttons in Rouge colors, and every button label switches between French and English through Polylang.
From studio discovery to booking
Explore the studios
Browse classes and locations in French or English.
Choose a class or plan
Filter the schedule or compare packs and memberships.
Continue in Mindbody
Healcode widgets handle the account, reservation or purchase.
Manage the next visit
Use the same Mindbody account on the website and app.
Booking and purchases follow separate Mindbody widget paths; WordPress presents the content.
For the studio team
Prices, passes, memberships and the class schedule are all managed in Mindbody, so whatever the studio changes there is what the site shows and sells, with no website edits needed. In WordPress, new signups from the landing page form appear in a "Rouge Pilates" admin page and a dashboard widget, where they can be viewed, deleted or exported to CSV, and FAQ entries are edited like regular posts.

Outcome
Visitors can discover the studio, compare offers, buy a pass or membership and book a class, all on one bilingual, on-brand website, while the studio manages everything in Mindbody. The site now presents two studios and both Mat and Reformer classes as one brand. After the first launch, the studio came back to me for the Rouge 2.0 update.
