P&P Caffe Bar
A bilingual café bar website with a price list the owners edit themselves.
The challenge
P&P is a café bar in Split. It needed a simple, good-looking website where guests can check the full drinks menu and prices in Croatian or English, and where the owners can change prices, add drinks, run promotions and update photos on their own, without editing pages or calling a developer.
My contribution
Built a custom WordPress plugin, P&P Caffe Manager, together with a one-page landing template: about, price list, promotions, gallery and contact with a map. The plugin adds its own admin area for the menu, promotions, gallery and site settings, and outputs everything on the page through shortcodes.
How it works
In the WordPress admin, a P&P Caffe menu has five screens: categories, products, promotions, gallery and settings. Each category and product has a Croatian and an English name, and products also carry volume, ingredients and price. The price list on the site is an accordion grouped by category, from hot drinks to dessert wines. Switching the flag in the header reloads the price list in the other language through AJAX, without reloading the page. Promotions appear as cards with a badge, gallery photos open in a lightbox, and the settings screen holds the logo, hero image, about text in both languages, phone, WhatsApp and email.
